On-Site Support
 

Our program offers permanent on-site support through our International Relations Office. A bilingual staff is available to help each student with courses, housing arrangements, cultural excursions, advise you about travel opportunities and help with the adjustment to daily life in Spain.

 

Accomodation
 
Students may choose to live with a local host family or in a private student residence hall.

 

Field Trips & Activities
 

PeñiscolaIncluded in the cost of the program is a planned field trip every week in order for the students to be exposed not only to the Spanish they learn in the classroom setting, but also to give them full access to Spanish history and culture.

All field trips have been organized to give the students the opportunity to practice the Spanish they are learning in their classes.

A sightseeing tour of Valencia will be taken at the beginning of the first week of the program.

Full-day excursions include a visit to the enchanting city of Cuenca and to the coastal village of Peñíscola.A shorter visit to see the roman amphitheater of Sagunto will be taken as well as tours of the Lladró factory and the winery Torre Oria.

Fundación ESTEMA Centro Universitario reserves the right to cancel the visits mentioned in this program and substitute them with similar field trips or excursions.

 

Medical Insurance
 

The price of the program includes comprehensive medical insurance (MAPFRE). An insurance card will be issued to each student upon arrival in Valencia.

 

 

Pre-Departure Information
   

Prospective students are encouraged to email us with questions in order to help them prepare for their trips.

Individual attention is paramount in our program!

A few weeks prior to departure students will receive our informative newsletter which will answer the most commonly-asked questions about studying and living in Spain.

During the Orientation Program which is held the first day of class the staff will be introduced and detailed information about the following will be given:

getting around Valencia (an information pack including a map of Valencia, a cultural guide to museums, monuments, nearby places of interest, interesting aspects of the province of Valencia and the Valencian Community, cuisine, sposrts, local fiestas and more)
the comprehensive medical insurance and how to use it
the classes, the library and computer room.
